Please excuse my absence ~ I have been working as an education park ranger (with a badge and the cool hat, even!) this summer, and thought I'd have more time to do postings! I'm on my last three weeks there, and finally have some breathing room!
So, here's a great site with lists of great books for all-age kids by writer and educator Elizabeth Kennedy. For example, right now you can see her "August Calendar of Children's Books," peruse several summer reading lists, and find books about starting school, for those apprehensive little ones, or for students moving to a new school.
